You alone are responsible for trades you place yourself on Kalshi from an alert, trades Cloud Run places when Auto-trade is On, and trades Cloud Run places when you tap Buy or Sell on Home. The app owner is not liable for your losses.
What Predict is
Predict is an independent software tool that provides lean signals, alerts, optional automated order placement, and optional Home Buy / Sell taps using your own Kalshi API credentials. It is not a broker, investment adviser, or money manager, and owes no fiduciary duty to users.

We do not promise, represent, or guarantee that any trade, alert, signal, or strategy will succeed or produce a profit. Past results do not predict future results. Markets move quickly; fills may miss, partial-fill, or fill at worse prices than expected.
Home Buy / Sell taps
When Last signals Buy / Sell is enabled, Home can show Buy YES / Buy NO (or Sell). One tap tells Cloud Run to place a real Kalshi order now. The phone never talks to Kalshi. Auto-trade Off does not block a tap. Home Buy uses Settings → Risk → Home Buy (size, minutes left/elapsed, max entry ask, time in force, chase). Shared limits (max open, trades/day, trades per 15-minute window, daily loss stop), cushions, and asset on/off apply to both Home Buy and Auto-trade. Auto-trade uses the Auto-trade tab, including Protect money. Chase can make you pay a little more than the visible ask, still capped by that path’s max entry ask (max $0.99). GTC can leave a resting order. IOC / FOK can miss. You can lose the full notional if the contract settles against you. Kill Switch and turning the Last signals Buy / Sell flag Off hide and disable these taps.
Technical & exchange execution risks
Automated trading relies on third-party exchange APIs, price feeds, internet connectivity, cloud servers, and device operating systems. We are not responsible for losses caused by Kalshi API downtime, rate limits, execution delays, slippage, market halts, feed errors, device process suspensions, or network outages.
Protect Sell & early exit execution risks
The "Protect Sell" (early sell) feature attempts to exit open positions early when market indicators flip. However, Predict does not guarantee that an early exit will succeed, prevent losses, or save money as expected. Early sell orders may fail to execute, partial-fill, delay, or fill at prices worse than expected due to heavy network traffic, API latency, Kalshi rate limits, order book illiquidity, zero active bid depth, wide spreads, rapid price gapping, or time decay (theta) near contract expiration. Enabling Protect Sell does not eliminate the risk of losing some or all of your capital.
Protect money works whenever that switch is On and keys are saved — even if Auto-trade (new buys) is Off. Exits run 24/7 on Cloud Run.
Tax & credential responsibility
You are solely responsible for keeping your Kalshi API credentials secure and confidential. You are also solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable local, state, or federal taxes resulting from your trading activities on Kalshi.

Predict is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years of age (or legal age in your jurisdiction) and who reside in locations where prediction market trading is legal.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Predict app owner, author, and operators are not responsible for any losses, costs, missed opportunities, failed or partial fills, incorrect or delayed signals, outages, bugs, device or network issues, or other damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — Predict.
By downloading, installing, subscribing to, or using Predict, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the app owner and developers from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the application or your Kalshi account activity.
