Orbit works 100% locally on your smartphone. We do not store or sell your workout runs.
Subscriptions are handled securely via Apple App Store. We do not store payment credentials.
Be safe! Pay attention to your surroundings. We are not responsible if you trip or get hurt while running.

These terms of service ("Terms") govern your download, installation, and use of Orbit ("the app", "we", "us"). By installing or utilizing Orbit, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not accept them, please remove Orbit from your device.

These Terms supplement the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of a conflict, the terms of the standard Apple EULA shall take precedence.

1. Description of Service

Orbit is a hands-free automatic lap counter application designed for indoor tracks (via smartphone sensor fusion) and outdoor tracks (via location/GPS services).

Because smartphone sensors and GPS signals vary based on weather, indoor metallic interference, satellite availability, and device hardware, Orbit does not guarantee 100% tracking accuracy for all environments. The data provided is for fitness reference only.

2. User Safety & Conduct

Your physical safety is paramount.

Pay Attention: Never look at the Orbit screen or manipulate settings while running in areas where you could trip, collide with objects, or obstruct others.
AirPods/Headphones Safety: When using audio voice splits (TTS), keep the volume at a level that still permits you to hear ambient track warnings, safety calls, or nearby vehicles.
Gym Safety: Place your device securely in a pocket, arm-band, or holder. Do not hold the device in a manner that increases fall risks or impacts.

We are not responsible for any personal injury, bodily harm, property damage, or accidents incurred while using Orbit.

3. Subscription Details & In-App Purchases

Orbit offers free basic tracking (up to 5 laps per workout) and premium subscription options (Orbit Pro) for unlimited tracking and advanced analytics.

Billing: Premium transactions are securely processed via RevenueCat and the Apple App Store.
Automatic Renewal: Orbit Pro subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually) unless canceled at least 24 hours prior.
Cancelation & Refunds: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. All refund requests are subject to the policies of the Apple App Store.

4. Disclaimers & Warranties

Orbit is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not warrant that the application will operate error-free, that GPS pre-warming will lock signal in every venue, or that magnetometer/sensor calibrations will succeed on all surfaces. Calibration is subject to external local variables.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer of Orbit be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the application.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. If a revision is made, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the app following updates denotes acceptance of the revised Terms.
